RPM = (Peripheral speed × 60,000) ÷ (π × Diameter in mm)
Target peripheral speeds: Roughing 5-10 m/s, Finishing 10-15 m/s, Sanding 3-5 m/s. Always start at the low end for unbalanced or irregular blanks.
